Sixth Sense = Sign of Sickness ?

I had this thought for a bout a week now, I think. I was sitting in my Psychopathology class, listening to the lecturer, who by the way reminds me a lot of Dr. Boyke from back home. The topic of that week was Schizophrenia. It was a pretty interesting topic, considering this kinda "situation" was one of the many reason's I signed up for Psychology in the first place. After the 2 hour lecture, we had this session, where a patient who was diagnosed with the condition was invited to talk about his experience in front of the whole class. I love this part of the class, cuz I've always wanted to meet with people who are actually diagnosed with all of these interesting conditions and I get to hear it first hand.
Through out the whole lecture my mind wondered off, just like they always have during lectures, and I kept thinking about one thing, that may or may not be related tot his condition. On the top of my head, one of the most significant symptoms of Schizophrenia was hallucination, which are also categorized into subtypes: touch, sight, sound and some sort of sense. The point is, the people who have this condition tend to "make up" something and believe for it to be true.
Where I came from, things were not so black and white. The belief of there's another world other than where we're living now is strongly held by some people. Some people are believed to have a "Third eye" or sixth sense, the ability to see another "being" that are known as ghost.
In the western world, ghost are made up, they're hallucination. They don't believe it as much as we do in the Eastern world. I have lived in the western world and currently living in one right now, and ghosts are the last thing on my mind. When I get home for the holidays, however, that feeling like there's someone or something else other than you in you own bedroom when you're all alone gets really high up. I have had experiences with this "other world", kinda, and I do believe their existence, but no, I have no ability of any kind.
what interests me is that, when you tell a psychologist or psychiatrist that you are able to see this "other being" and you believed in the existence of this "other world", what would they say. Would they investigate more on the truth of this belief or would they examine this person medically? Having this "ability" is sort of like being a schizophrenic, you believing something that may and may not be true. another thing, what if people who have been diagnosed with this condition actually are telling the truth? that they see these things that they claim to see.
Interesting isn't it? That's what I love about Psychology, things are not so black and white and I like them that way. It keeps you wondering.

Friend or Foe

They say boyfriends come and go and friends are forever. yes, I was a strong believer for this philosophy before, I chose my friends over my boyfriend at the time any day of the week. I realize though as I get older good friends are REALLY hard to hold on to, on the other hand, the boyfriend never skipped a beat. i don't know if its because of as people get older they get more selfish and focused on their own thing, or it is just me, and my past. I do think my past has a really huge impact on my life, how I do things and how I think. it's very psychological, and no I don't want to get into it.
back to the friends problems, no I don't have any major friends problem at the moment, and no I'm not planning on having one in the nearest future. like I said, I have had my share of this drama all through my life. but things are oke now, I hope.
I have thought about certain things a long the way, how I might have changed and why ight cause this changes to happen. well one thing, I do have a serious trust issues. I'm not blaming this on anyone but myself, being a psychology student in my third year, I kinda did a little self analyses myself, a case of miss-diagnosed may and may not happen. so, trust issues is the biggest and major problem I have right now, I find myself constantly thinking about what's the pther party's hidden agenda. why would they anything, really. no, this is not me being overly paranoid, but its just me being a cynical and realistic. I mean, just think about it this way, people do have their own agenda, they always have something they can get out of from other people or anything. it's human nature, so no one should be ashamed of realizing this.
of course, trauma also holds a pretty big role. I guess in way, I used to have a huge expectation from my friends, and not so much from my (ex)boyfriends. this way, when bad things happen with my boyfriend that that moment i wouldnt be so crushed, because i would still have my friends, but back to my what I said earlier, people are slefish in their own way.
these days, I have my own theory about friendship, that is, don't be too naive (of course), don't take things too seriously, and all humans are self-absorved, so everything is based on their own benefit. sad, but it is true.
it is actually a good thing that I decided ot take psychology, this way I could leaan there's no such thing as normal, and with the highly complex being that we are, everything is possible in the mind of us human.

Haiiii!

Disini gue mau cerita tentang temen-temen gue yang akrab nya banget-bangettan(menurut gue) disingkat jadi SAZA. Berdiri 1 November 2011, ada Shasa,Anastasya,Zakiyah, dan Atria. Beberapa hari kemudian entah kenapa Atria ngundurin diri dari SAZA, trus gue inget banget waktu hari sabtu Zakiyah nemuin gue di tangga sekolah trus dia cerita dan dia nawarin supaya gue masuk SAZA.

'Dor, lu mau ngga masuk SAZA ?' kata Zakiyah.
'Bukannya SAZA udah ada Atria ?' gue bales.
'Gatau Atria katanya mau keluar dari SAZA' kata Zakiyah lagi.
'Emang kenapa Atria keluar ?' kata gue lagi.
'Gatau. Plis yaa lu mau kan masuk SAZA ?' kata Zakiyah sedikit memohon(tapi emang iya)
'Iyaa deh iyaa' kata gue.

Abis gue sama Zakiyah ngobrol dia langsung nyamperin temennya Shasa.

Dan jadilah Aisya masuk ke SAZA.

Sekarang SAZA jadi Shasa,Anastasya,Zakiyah dan Aisya.

1. Lailishafitri Nurulchairat. Dipanggil Shasa lahir di Bogor,17 Juni 1998 lahirnya sesar zodiaknya Gemini dia punya satu kakak cewek yang sama-sama cantik. Dia sekolah TK di TK ABA trus dia lanjut ke SD di SDN Pengadilan 2. Rumahnya di Jalan Manunggal II No.6 Bogor, dia suka banget sama Boyband Korea itu BigBang. Menurut gue, dia itu cantik,baik,suka nyimpen rahasia, tapi sayangnya dia suka ngedalemmin gue ama si Zakiyah. Kasihaaan.
2. Anastasya Mulyono Putri. Dipanggil Tasya atau Syale, lahir di Bogor, 14 September 1998 lahirnya normal zodiaknya Virgo dia punya satu kakak cowo satu adek cewek dan dua adek cowok. Dia sekolah di TK Ummul Quro' trus dia lanjut ke SD di SDIT At-Taufiq. Rumahnya di Kayu Manis No.16. Dia suka banget sama yang namanya Super Junior, Exo sama Bigbang (mungkin). Menurut gue, dia lucu, item manis,suka nyimpen rahasia, sayangnya juga dia itu sama kayak Shasa,kadang klo Shasa lagi ngebully si Syale pasti ikuttan.
3. Zakiyah Rachmalia. Dipanggil Zakiyah, lahir di Bogor, 17 Juli 1998 lahirnya sesar zodiaknya Cancer punya satu kakak cowok. Dia sekolah TK di TK ABA bareng sama Shasa lanjut SD ke SDN Pengadilan 3. Rumahnya di Jl. Taman Sari III Taman Cimanggu, dia suka banget sama Miley Cyrus. Menurut gue, dia itu orangnya baik, pinter,lucu tapi sayang klo dia ketawa langsung menggelegar 'HUAHAHA!' *maap zak* anak buangan selalu beda sendiri, selalu jadi korban di-dalemmin sama Shasa dan Syale:p
4. Aisya Zainurahmalia. Dipanggil Aisya atau Bidor, lahir di Jakarta, 30 Agustus 1998 lahirnya normal zodiaknya Virgo dia punya satu kakak cewek. Dia sekolah TK di TK Al-Azhar Pusat lanjut ke SD ke SDN Sukadamai 3. Rumahnya di Bogor Country, gue suka banget sama 1D. Menurut gue, gue itu biasa-biasa aja suka ngeluh tiap saat dan selalu jadi korban di-dalemmin si Shasa dan si Syale (juga).

Glee is an American musical comedy-drama television series that airs on Fox in the United States. It focuses on the high school glee club New Directions competing on the show choir competition circuit, while its members deal with relationships, sexuality and social issues. The initial main cast encompassed club director and Spanish teacherWill Schuester (Matthew Morrison), cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch), guidance counselor Emma Pillsbury (Jayma Mays), Will's wife Terri (Jessalyn Gilsig), and eight club members played by Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Mark Salling and Jenna Ushkowitz. For the second season, formerly recurring cast members Mike O'Malley, Heather Morris andNaya Rivera were promoted to the main cast. For the third season, Harry Shum, Jr. andDarren Criss were promoted from recurring to the main cast, and both Gilsig and O'Malley were removed from star billing, though the latter is again in the recurring guest cast. The series was created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, the last of whom first conceived of Glee as a film. Thepilot episode was broadcast on May 19, 2009, and the first season aired from September 9, 2009 to June 8, 2010. The second season aired from September 21, 2010 to May 24, 2011, and the third season aired from September 20, 2011 to May 22, 2012. Boyz II Men is an American R&B vocal group best known for emotional ballads and a cappella harmonies. They are the most successful R&B group of all time, having sold mor Currently the group is atrio, featuring baritone Nathan Morris alongside tenors Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman. WOW… Directioners, what a week it’s been! The boys have been Stateside this week, taking over New York’s Madison Square Garden AND hosting their biggest fan event ever!

EDIE CAMPBELL says that - unlike most of the world's teenage girl populace - she didn't fall for the charms of One Direction during herVogue shoot. The British beauty stars alongside the band in the December issue, photographed by Patrick Demarchelier.

"I tried to fancy them, really I did, but I just didn't," she told us. "They reminded me of my little sister's friends. I hadn't realised how big they were to be honest. I was perhaps the only female left under 25 who wasn't aware of their superstardom status, but I'm much more of a fan now. They're such sweet, nice boys and incredibly enthusiastic.  They wanted to be famous and now that they are famous, you get the impression that they still love it, which is really nice to see."

As enthusiastic as the fivesome were on the shoot, it was (perhaps unsurprisingly), only frontman Harry Styles who was brave enough to talk to Campbell.

"The others didn't really say much to me, just Harry," she said. "He looks so young, but he's so sweet. The hair was very prominent - it was swept back like lots of teenage boys' wear it. The hair was impressive. He left me hanging at the end of the day though. We went to say goodbye and I gave him a kiss on the cheek, I went into the right and then to the left - like you do in fashion, the double kiss - and by the time I'd got round to the left, he'd disappeared. There was no serenade; no What Makes You Beautiful, nothing."

Is she prepared to be the subject of universal envy from the band's loyal and passionate following?

"As long as they don't appear at my door with fire-lit torches, I reckon I can handle it," she said. "I don't fancy any sort of witch hunt - it could be like the trials of Salem all over again."

Not even the band members themselves are used to their legions of screaming adoring fans.

"You're never going to get used to walking into a room and have people screaming at you," Styles told us. "There's a lot of things that come with the life you could get lost in.  But you have to let it be what it is.  I've learnt not to take everything too seriously."

Bring Me to 1D - Take Part

Directioners! We want you to be a part of something special.

If you didn’t win a Go1Den Ticket in Bring Me to 1D - there’s still a chance for you to be a part of the day.  We want as many Directioners as possible to be involved in of our fan event in New York - in fact - we want this to be the biggest fan event in history!

No matter where you live, you can still join in. Here are some things you can still do to take part:

Create a Greetings Video
Got a camera? Got a phone? Then get it out and make us a video! We want to hear from Directioners across the world. Film a ‘Greetings from (insert your country here)’ video and upload as a video response to the boys’ Thank you video on Youtube. Make sure you mention your country, include your country’s flag and invite as many people to be in your video with you as possible! The best videos from each country will play on the big screen in New York in front of all winners - and the boys!

Send us Fan Art
If you’re a fan of 1D and you like… well - art, then this one’s for you! The boys want their Bring Me to 1D venue covered in the artwork of their fans - they were so impressed with the stuff you sent them last time that they want more! Simply draw, paint or photograph what 1D means to you, send to 1DHQ and we’ll make sure your artwork is seen by the boys. (We’ll also make sure it’s well-travelled - without needing a passport!).
